My intention is to publish a wide range of Start-Up Stories to:

• Share the variety of ways and reasons which we all start down this path – because everyone’s journey is different!

• I want to inspire people who are considering starting a business but questioning whether they have what it takes.

• And to shine a light on the everyday people that are smashing their business goals – showcasing what is possible if you are willing to take the chance, follow your dreams and do the work.

And that’s why it’s important to me to be sharing REAL people and REAL stories.

Article Length

Everyone’s story is different and therefore some will be naturally longer than others and some shorter. I’d rather that you focus on writing your storying, without having to edit out or expand parts just to fit a certain word count.

The majority of Start-Up Stories already published tend to be between 1000 – 2000 words.

Image Requirements

Ideally, I would like a photo of you working in your business, for the header image. And a headshot to use with your bio. However, I can use the same photo of you for both images if you prefer.

When Will My Article be Published?

I’m scheduling the articles in the order that I receive them. So the sooner you get yours to me, the sooner it will be published.

How To Submit My Guest Article?

You can email your article to me at katrina@katrinamills.co.uk  Please include ‘Start-Up Story’ in the Subject Line.

It would be great if you could also provide a short bio to accompany your story – with the link to your website.

And if you have a Facebook page and Instagram account, please include these links as well so I can tag you when I share your story on these platforms.

What Happens Next?

I will reply to your email to confirm receipt of your article. Please add my email address to your safe-senders list.

Once it has been scheduled, I will email you again with the publishing date and link.
